Woodmen has been working with young people for more than 100 years. Although the world has changed dramatically during the past century, the basic core of our Youth Program has remained the same: it’s all about helping kids grow up to be and do their best. Our Youth Program is about learning civic responsibility; acquiring new skills that develop self confidence; and helping others in any way possible. And, throughout the program, we emphasize strong family and moral values. Youth member learn valuable lifelong lessons by participating in lodge activities, which center around:
Camp Woodmen a summer camp is one opportunity for growth, friendship and memories. Woodmen youth camps are open to members from ages 8 – 15, Camps offer boys and girls the opportunity to expand their interests and experiences, and learn about teamwork and leadership. Activities at camp include nature study, citizenship, drama, arts and crafts, swimming, fishing, games, hiking, sports and many others.
